i have been prescribed cyclobenzaprine in 10mg tablets, 4 times a day, forever…?

i suffer from chronic pain and these were added to the list of other pain medications that i take…i read that i should only take them 3 times a day…i should be ok…right ?

If the doctor prescribed it that way it should be OK. You can always call the pharmacy to confirm if that is a normal dose. I know people that take that much but they are looking for the flexiril CHILL…

I am looking for some real advice on Long Tern Pain Medication use?

I am a 35 year chronic pain patient, I have done everything the Medical Field has to offer when it comes to Pain Management, I am not addicted to my meds, I have tried all alternative methods for pain management (a surgery workup is underway to see if this will help) but until then…
I just want Information on those who have been on pain medications for over 7 years to let me know if they have experienced anything not put on the medications warnings list. I am on oxycodone 5 times a day, Xanex and muscle relaxants 3 times a day…I was on this from 1999-2008, then alternatives like hydrocodone now back to oxycodone…anyone got any advice
